To be honest Spencer has some degree of correctness here, as Atheists tend to be rather roostery about their beliefs (Not that people of other religions aren't, either). No one can prove (yet) how the earth, solar system, and life came to be. We can make very educated speculations but anybodies theory is just as plausible as the next one.
Just because you think your theory is more plausible doesn't make it right. Also, religion's other main purpose was to teach valuable morals and ideas, and are still very useful today.
At the end of the day, please keep your religion (or lack thereof) to yourself.
