I wish I could speak Switzerland.

I like my 'Murica, but if I had a second choice, Italy.
uhhh
italy is pretty economically unstable right now
and unsafe

If I could learn a new language it would be Finland or Switzerland
That's a good point. I forget about the language barriers.

I have 6 countries that I would most like to live in, in order;
Greece
New Zealand
Italy
Australia
USA
Japan

For atleast 3 of those I am 100% safe with only knowing English.
The others I'm not too sure how well I'd cope with just English. I know that in Greece and Italy a number of touristey places (like the capitals) are generally decent on their English.
But it would probably take some level of effort to learn new languages. I wasn't very good when I had to learn French in school. But if I wanted to learn the language, I might be better at it.

Edit: Out of curiosity too, I have added a poll.

While the topic is about the country you would move to if you had to, the poll is about whether you would move or stay.

I'd love to live somewhere in asia, preferable Japan, Korea, or Taiwan. New Zealand may be nice, too.

Australia
Compared to the UK it's honestly not that good, I wouldn't reccomend anyone to move here unless it's for a much better job or family etc

So i'd probably like to live in the UK again if I could go anywhere

right where i live now, canada, it's beautiful and peaceful.

See, I've known friends to go to Australia for a few years on a temporary living/working period and then return.
And a number of times they have spoken of how great the entire time was.
But I've also heard others say that it wasn't as great as it's cracked up to be.

I think there's a certain level of attraction to Australia as a tourist-location.
Holidays would probably be lovely, but I suppose living there could go either way.
You do hear of some Hellish stories of people who've visited and disaster has struck. But I suppose the same can be said of most places also.

That's probably the whole reason I'm quite content to stay in England.
It's more out of personal curiosity that I'd want to live in any other country.

If you absolutely had to move somewhere else though (imagine being forced to leave your country, but you get a choice of where to), where would you decide to move to?

Sir dooble, you do realize that Greece is in a poophole right now, right?

to my homeland, GERMANY

or Australia that's a coolio place too
