Probally England because it seems to be a reasonable country with lots of interesting history.

On a side note I'd like to know why so many of you would like to live in Germany because I live there and I'd like to hear some opinions about it from others.

I'm happy in the UK, but if I had to move to another country, it'd probably be Canada or France.

Italy mostly, but canada sounds like a good option, what with the hockey.

as a technicality, i'd be staying in my own country, but i consider hawaii so far removed after having visited that it may as well be foreign.

Either the UK or Australia.

I think there's a good appeal to Germany just on it's economical stability alone.
While the EU crCIA affects all countries in the EU (even those not using the Euro), Germany seems to be standing strongest, and has a reasonable grip on its self.

I don't know the politics or economy of the country inside and out, but the fact that it's made considerable contributions to the bailing out of Greece, Ireland and others.

I'll be honest and say that I'm rather ignorant of German culture, so I've never considered it as a place to live before.
But I suppose it must have it's upsides too. I've seen a lot of people on these forums over the years mention a wanting to live in Germany.

I would move back to Australia

If I was going to permanently live anywhere but here it would definitely be Canada.
forget everywhere else :D
