To be safe:
Close blockland.
Delete the current one.
Take out the rtbinfo from the old one.
Stick the old one in your add-ons.

Should be fine from there.

didn't get the info, I looked into the old one and this is the exact info I get:
Quote
id: 1681
icon: lego
type: Bricks
title: Wedge Bricks
version: 5

If someone could go into their add_ons, check for Brick_Wedge.zip, open it up, find their rtbInfo.txt and paste their text into a comment, that'd be great.

forget me, great, when I try and save the modification to the txt., it goes to my System_32. loving windows 8. That, and when I trace back to the original file folder, it says I cant save it there. Ill just try and cut/paste it to it's right spot...

true on so many levels

Internet issues isn't getting underestimated; people with internet issues should most definitely not be playing on a game with a community filled up with people wanting to make other people's lives missery!

Yes, I will pay for anybody willing to showcase their creation if they're struggling to host in a stable condition, because Blockland most definitely needs more gamemode ideas spread around. Groudbreaking enough to create a huge population of players/interest without me spending $6 on a waste of stuff.

I'd say those 'personal issues' you're talking about is more like insecurities with scamming and downers to the online world who want to either A. create a mockery of you, or B. ruin you up by giving away details of personal information. I doubt people with these insecurities would even have a paypal account and would have bought a BLID.

We might be thinking of the wrong internet issues here, I'm thinking of stuff like internet bullying and whatnot. I might have gotten confused. However my point still stands.

I'm talking about internet issues as in things like
not being able to host a server because their internet doesn't allow it
or it using too much bandwidth
etc

and I'm not sure how your point still stands

Ok then, lets go back to where you listed 'internet issues'.

I don't think that should be a problem nowadays anyway, due to the vast amount of users using modern day technology for a low amount of money. I don't know about you Americans but us U.K people are getting broadband at dirt price. Unlimited bandwidth, entertainments package, landline calls, fibre optic (100mb/s upload & download) for less than £20. If you've got internet issues, invest in dedicated hosting services like RTB Hosting or the other one that still baffles me at the fact it's still alive! Plus everyone should be using routers these days, no old USB modem or god forsaken DSL. It's 2013, not 2003.

Ugh stop using 'etc', because if I already knew examples, I would have already wrote a huge ass paragraph about it.

I'm sorry but
that's invalid

too expensive for a dedicated server

Then don't host, simple as that pikey.

$5-6 isn't too expensive...

The original point of the argument was to convince him to host.

I derp'd, alright :I

I fixed it though, I'm hosting to see if it worked.

noedit: fixed it, glorious

Well if $6 is too expensive for The Resonte!'s example then I don't see the point in hosting at all, then again I'm sure somebody else could host for him. Endless possibilities both sides.

Also I wouldn't class this as an argument, just a discussion. I'm not going to be involved in an argument if it's about hosting, lmao.

HOSTING MY FRIEND
IS TO SPREAD LOVE AND JOY TO THE PEOPLE AROUND YOU
TO SHOW PEOPLE HOW TO LAUGH AND HAVE FUN
WITH FRIENDLY COMPETITIONS AND UNIQUE GAMING
THAT IS
HOSTING
also some people also hate the quality of servers these days

other than that poetry

trusting other people to host for you is tough
for example
let's say you used a lot of addons for a build
your hoster friends would need those same addons
complicated stuff

really it's just
Endless possibilities both sides.
GOOD GAME
LETS DO IT AGAIN SOME TIME
