Author Topic: Attempting to be healthier.  (Read 1774 times)

Ever since I had my heart operation, the doctors at my hospital have encouraged me to stay healthy; do regular exercise, eat healthily etc.
For a while I was going to the gym every week and eating fruit and vegetables every day, but now I find myself having pancakes and lemonade for breakfast then staying in to play TF2. This ain't good at all, so I've decided I'm going to be healthier from now on. I'm going to try and eat my five fruit and veg a day and go to the gym more often.

It's off topic. There are boards for everything else, if you don't like people posting about their lives in off-topic, go to games, creativity, general discussion, ect.

Good to hear. Keep up the great work.

Posting a single thread about your life =/= blogging.

Also it makes way for discussion so it does its purpose

BITCH

you guys are starfishs

i'm glad you're deciding to not curl up dead playing tf2

As well as going to the gym you should do a sport too, one that involves a lot of movement like 5 a side soccer or basketball.
Its a good thing to do trust me.

I put off playing sports because I'm complete stuff at them and none of my friends ever want to play outside

Practice basketball because it's worth it. For me it helped with my growth.

Hey, as long as you realize that you have a problem with your current situation, you've accomplished more than a hell of a lot of egotistical starfishs here, that's for sure.

Good luck and stick to it

wait what

what the forget happened
Coarctation of the Aorta
A condition where the aorta (the bit which blood flows through from the heart) is indented, so the blood can't flow easily.
They had to put a metal tube in there to expand it.
