If you're actually attempting to get anywhere that isn't going to to do anything.

it's better than not doing that + you might get a bit muscle if you up the amount of push ups

I really need to start getting regular physical activity. Since I'm going to school now I get free access to the school gym, well not really free but it's part of mandatory fees I pay. I really need to start using it. I wish I had the motivation to actually start getting healthy.

I know it makes you feel great too, like in the summer when I'm a camp counselor I feel great from being physically active, having a regular schedule, and eating somewhat healthy meals. I always feel motivated at the end of the camp to make changes but I lose all motivation so quick.

10 pushups a day will give you no muscle or anything, it's hardly better than just sitting around like usual.
Unless you are properly working out and doing many times that amount of pushups you aren't going to see any results.
