Author Topic: What the forget, Microsoft?  (Read 693 times)

Earlier this week I popped Doom 3 into my Xbox 360 to find that it no longer worked. I have had this Xbox for four years and it always worked without problems, but between some of the Xbox updates that happened recently I guess support was phased out. Now I'm finding that none of my original Xbox games work. Fortunately I have an original Xbox, but the 360p input on a 48" TV is just short of appalling. I'm also still pissed that they stopped hosting Xbox Live for the original.

It makes a lot of sense that Microsoft closed live for the original Xbox

They stopped supporting Xbox Live Original in April of Last Year.
Take that back, April 15, 2010.

I can understand that, but loving with the Xbox emulator is really annoying, seeing as at probably wasn't as big a windfall as Live.

I'm pretty sure it was phased out in April of 2010.
