Author Topic: Big ol' rant.  (Read 1469 times)

Recently, me and my mum have had yet another falling out about computertime (the software that stops me from using the computer 24/7). My mother keeps getting angry at me for having no control when it comes to the computer and saying that other kids don't stay up as late as me on their iPods, but the only reason they don't stay up late is because their parents take action and remove their electronics before they go to sleep. My mother, however, makes the bare minimum effort to stop me, as she only once every week can be arsed to turn off the Internet, which means that I can still use my iPod anyway. She can't accept that she's wrong either. When I put up a decent argument, she just tells me that I should go and live at my dad's house or go to my room. Maybe it's just because she's so lazy that she can't even be forgeted to put sentences together. My dad is also pissed off at me for supposedly losing his 16 GB SD card, even though I don't need to use his camera because I have my iPod, and between now and the last time he saw the card (in his camera at a concert), I haven't used it once. But no, it's my fault and I have to pay for a new one if I can't find it.

TLDR - My parents are blaming me for stuff that isn't my fault.

tell him you didnt do it

again

and again

untill he diesadmits you didnt do it

Why does every other kids' mother I've met seem this way?

tell her you're [age] and that you can do what you want. She needs to get over the fact that you're not a small child anymore. Tell her she needs to grow up.

what if he's 2 years old?

don't argue with your mom and do what you're told  maybe

Why is it that this is every mother I see/hear about in a nutshell?

Just uninstall computertime via add or remove programmes in control panel.

boot the computer in safe mode and delete the folder.
or if you dont want to permanently get rid of it open the start menu and type msconfig, under startup look for computertime.
untick it.
