you can go to options > reset universe in the launcher, or you can type /give_credits Yourname 999999999 if you just want to build freely

in your server config file there's a setting for server speed limit. the default is 50km/h and its set that way because apparently all the npcs zipping around at high speeds can put strain on a server. on my sp world i have it set to 200km/h and most mp servers have it set to 150-200.

-------

the exterior is pretty much done at this point, there isnt a whole lot i think left to change or add. working extensively on all the interior space afforded by the new expansion though:

I extended those dinky little backup cannons on the side of the ship and now they're full-fledged sniper rifles essentially. They do 1.8k per shot with a 2.4km range, and they still fulfill the original role nicely.

I'd post some pictures of the interior but at this point it's like a small city and it'd take like 100 screenshots lol

For once in my life Stocking has made me feel insecure about my own ability to build starships and I love it. Hats off to you.

Stocking, I'm scared. Very very scared.

That is a frightenly massive ship.

my lovey beast of a ship is like
a 3x3 cube
with four thrusters in the back (overkill or some stuff) four antimatter guns in the front, two salvagey things i don't know how to use (yes i have the salvage computer, i don't know what the stuff does) and all the computers and stuff in the back behind the core so it's sort of like a tank

it looks like total stuff

this is stupid

the goddamned pirates keep butchering my ass and i can't make lovey space ships

i'm bored already :(

are there any servers

I sure hope you have turrets on that ship, one lucky cloaked ship later that amazing ship will become one hell of a scrapping mission.

best way to play i've found is to just disable the pirates and build whatever you want, and then when its built spawn a bunch of pirates and fight them.

Code: [Select]
/simulation_ai_enable false
will disable the pirates and

Code: [Select]
/give Yourname Itemname Amount
will give you any item you might need to build your ship

do you not see the tremendous amount of turrets on the ship lol

There are 31 turrets, 11 of which do 10k dps and have a 1.2km range.

and cloak/jam ships are EXTREMELY small and lightly armed, there's no way one could even dent the 3.3 million in shields before getting blown to smithereens by the main gun.

Good... I've had some bad encounters with having a "large moving target" of a ship.

I've only built 2 ships so far, with the Fire Lilly frigate being my only other vessel:

Both the Fire Lilly and The Magiliene come with a significant loadout of turrets, in addition to powerful and efficient AMC and missile systems. These turrets include:

The 312 Turbolaser deals 2.7k dps at a 700m range. It deals 260 damage per shot and has two barrels.  It's extremely power efficient, and has 17k shields and has hardened hull plating.

Count
Magiliene: 24
Fire Lilly: 16

The S11 Flechette Turbolaser deals 3.7k dps at 700m range. It does an average of 100 damage per barrel and has 7 barrels. Also extremely power efficient and it boasts 70k in shielding.

Count
Magiliene: 6
Fire Lilly: 2

The 411 Ultralaser  deals 15.5k dps at 1.3km range. It deals 700 per barrel and has 3 barrels. It kills stuff dead. Like really dead. It also has 100k in shields and it's covered in hardened hull plating.

Count
Magiliene: 11
Fire Lilly: 1

also Magiliene hovering over a planet:

I dunno stocking i really liked the lilarcorn

I dunno stocking i really liked the lilarcorn

im not so sure the lilarcorn is even a ship, it's more like a mobile death trap that you use if you want to die very quickly in a really ugly ship
