I don't care as long as it's a game.

pretty much what I was going to say.  PC is easily interchangeable and can be modded in plenty of ways to achieve what you want
And the game developer has no limits!
I miss lan parties.
As do I...

you guys realize that within a decade we're going to hit the graphics wall, right?  that our human eye won't be able to tell the difference?

4 logitech controllers, an HDMI cable, and a compatible steam game.
that's such a hassle, moving your rig to the tv.  most people aren't going to want to do that tbh

i stopped caring about graphics awhile ago, plus, once we hit the wall companies will just keep updating thier resolutions and connections so people will have to buy new cards

I use a laptop. I can move mine anywhere I like and still play Sonic Adventure 2.

I just use a long HDMI cable.

In halo 4 I couldn't tell filmed cutscenes from animated ones.

i really hope not

i just don't see it as a realistic option.

consoles you can chill out, you're not sitting upright at a desk.  idk consoles just seem so much more chill and social to me

I agree with this because consoles are holding games back. If you make a game for a PC you can make it as advanced as you want. However, if you are using a console you are limited to what a console can do. PC's are better off because if you have a gaming computer, odds are it can run faster than a console.
not to mention in pc its easier to modify files and and they have an edge at online multiplayer gaming

and also the fact you could use a xbox controller for many (good) games

I use a logitech gamepad!

Why not?
just the whole idea of using a pc for couch gaming

like i play games in my basement, and i have no computers down there, so i wouldn't be able to do that.  most of my friends wouldn't be able to do it either.

and additionally, most gamers aren't willing to constantly pay for upgrades, and without the upgrades, there's no real advantage to pc gaming

Why not?
I guess it's because his PC is far away from his TV. I bet in the future they will have WIRELESS HDMI!! That would be awesome! Connect all my systems to one TV!

Get a really good PC, throw your xbox out the window, repace with PC, done!

I find the precision of the mouse very advantageous. I'm much better with a mouse than a controller.

Mods are also an advantage that consoles do not have.
