we can make out any color but mixing red blue and green. this animal doesn't need to mix those colors to see a specific color. it just sees it.

I think they put the extra colors as "?" because we don't know what the exact colors are.

it means they are able to see a ton of colors without mixing in colors to get a specific color. our brains aren't capable of handling that. its not that they can see colors that don't exist. that would make no sense.

yeah colours that humans can't see makes no sense!
