Author Topic: How could a dog leash be improved?  (Read 486 times)

We're doing some reverse engineering/product improvement thing in my engineering class and I need to come up with three things that could improve a dog leash... But I can't think of anything but one.

Of course, you can also this thread to come up with ridiculous things to put on a dog leash that would not even help me if you want.

I mean, you can't expect the Blockland forums to be too serious about something. :)

Ooh thanks. Never thought of that. I will use this.

Using metal wires to strengthen the rope?

Rub dog stuff up and down it
Dogs love that

I would use this, but I don't think I can... It has to be something that you can model on the computer.

Make sure it's bright otherwise it's not useful.

OT: What about something like the way a seatbelt works? So if the dog starts racing off quickly, it'll automatically lock it's self.

My puppy will bite the leash and then run with it, and he'll end up cutting the sides of his mouth, maybe make the edges softer
Also make the leash stronger so he can bite it all he wants without destroying it

make it a FLYING LEASH
