Author Topic: Longest slide ever  (Read 2199 times)

While it IS just a long slide, personally I find this pretty stinking impressive

It's a big feat to make something that huge manually imo

well, congratulations on passing the patience test

i think it would have been mroe impressive if you tested your patience at rebuilding iterations of a home. example: build a home, build another one with improvements, then build another one with even more improvements/detail.

unless you're content carting dirt around there really is no point just to test patience alone. It's like saying "look i moved this huge pile of dirt from here to here! This is a great test of my patience!" when you could have spent the same amount of time on studying chemistry or math or something, which tests your patience and teaches you something so the time isn't wasted.

I'm doing so now, i am currently working on a computer system strait from Star Trek the next generation, where the computer responds to verbel commands

Oh my god

Just what I needed for one of my servers, thanks.

The OP is so obvious a lie that it's actually funny.
Tell me how long it takes to get down there, and how fast you are at the bottom

i can report EVERYONE who left a negative comment about my build on this post. I DO NOT want any rating once so ever. Any negative post about my build after this one will be reported
Hold it right there partner
"There is no need to criticize someone else's build simply because it's not the best build out there"
does not mean
"You can never criticize anyone's build ever unless they say you can."

It is merely a recognition that some people are better builders than others and you shouldn't judge them purely upon that. If you will allow me to assume something, I'd say that you have the capacity for a more interesting, complicated, and pleasing build.

With that being said, I think this is pretty dull. The build isn't the impressive part; it's that you had the patience to create it.

I also personally see no point in providing a download (much less 4 lol), as I cannot imagine any practical use.

However, to back up a little bit, I do admire your patience; I would never be able to do such a thing. Congratulations on your record (though I'm sure someone will just go and break it with a duplicator or macro or both.) I hope this was helpful; I'm just trying to provide a balanced view, instead of my immediate reflex.

um

i'm not exaclty sure how testing your patience is applicable in blockland

i think no one cares if you use a duplicator if what you make turns out real nice.

EDIT: if you're making an identical slide, not necessarily a build

i donno

it's that you had the patience to create it.
This is nonsense
He used duplicator and macro and created the build in 5 minutes

Its i big slide play with it stop downsizing my build.

This is nonsense
He used duplicator and macro and created the build in 5 minutes
I was giving him the benefit of the doubt
+ after dividing by three for each repetition the number of parts is pretty arbitrary

Yin yang clearly does not understand that patience is spelled PATIENCE, whereas patients is medical terminology for one who is hospitalized.

Nice going OP, you done goofed
