but
you don't know what it means
you shouldn't have to look up a song in English just to understand it.
People like yourself are so small minded when it comes to music.
Music of different languages can be difficult to get used to at first, but once you do, it's amazing.
People like music (korean in this instance) for many things, lyrics, how the lyrics sound, the music, the emotion, it's endless.
You can't say that it's wrong for someone to listen to a song that they can't understand. I know that you're trying to say, "There's so many good english songs out there, why do you listen to something you don't even understand?"
And the answer to that is, because we like it better. Eventually, like anyone, we start to love the artist and get to know them behind their music. (This is why Psy is a good person, he has a fantastic personality and is very wise, even though in his music videos he doesn't act like it.)
There are no barriers in music. Sometimes I listen to a korean song and don't look up the english lyrics. (It sounds silly, but when you listen to it so many times you understand a word here and there and can feel the artists purpose for making the song.)
Also, this is sort of off topic, but another reason people like korean artists, it's because they tend to sing better live under the circumstances that they are put under. (The most popular artists dancing and singing at the same time without showing that they are tired, while with most mainstream artists in America, they cannot do that.)
There's also the choreography and everything else, but I'm not going to go into that.
