Alienware X51 Shipping with Ubuntu Linux!

alienwares are about 1.5x to 2x overpriced
so you can save a lot assembling the computers yourself

Nah, they're way overrated and customer service is stuff.  You're basically paying for a name and a verbal slap to the face.

Aleinware is overpriced, most of them do have good specs though.
Plus, the customer service is pretty bad.

i switched to gnome 3 just because unity was a huge resource hog.
