I was on his server.
He expects to have a successful fortwars with admin only wrench events.

Yeah, I get this a lot. I enabled events once, and all hell broke loose. It really was terrible. I tried it again, everything broke down. Again and again I tried, but it all ended the same way: Terribly.

 So I decided to get rid of them all together. I know a lot of people don't like it. I know a lot of people will leave the server because of it. But I don't think events are really worth all that much, and if you want them? You can always make your own.

 I want to create a server that I can enjoy and hopefully others will enjoy it too. I don't enjoy it when someone makes a base so impenetrable that as soon as I shoot at it I lose all my weapons and die. What's the fun in that?

 I don't expect everyone to like it, I don't expect everyone to join it. I just like to play with my friends and meet some new ones. what's the harm in that really?

I was on Twizzles server a while ago.
It was really bad. Nothing but spam, badmins, and spawn killers.

Was it man? I'm sorry about that.  I try to allow anyone to build what they want, because if I say it's spammy then they will go off on one and rage quit, and I try to avoid that. I delete it shortly after, maybe I never got around to it.

As for the badmins,  I assume you are talking about me since there are no other admins on the server.
I don't know when you joined, but if you let me know I can help you a bit more.

As for the admin only wrench event thing, I put that on to stop any abusive events being used. I never used events myself (besides a teleporter that anyone can use leading on to the roof of my base) so what you assumed was wrong.

And as for the reason I killed/kicked you: I was used to noons coming into my base, taking my weapons from the room you were in and then running about killing people. I assumed you had the same idea, I killed you. I did kill myself, but it really didn't matter that much to me. The reason I kicked you was because I thought you were going to kill without a base, which you are not allowed to do. Obviously I was wrong, but I was angry at the time.

I've made some stuffty choices but I hope to make this server better for everyone.
I've allowed events and checkpoints now, but am lacking a balanced weapons mod. Can anyone recommend some for me?

I looked, but I don't think there is one. Perhaps there is a private version but oh well.

He's right.*  Just because someone kills  or disagrees with you in a game, you shouldn't be ruining their fun by forcefully removing from the server.
