all people really want is some respect, but people tell jokes that are without mercy and it really kills people on the inside. humor is something that people are never careful with, and because of this, people are always doing things like killing themselves or hurting others.

Your post seems pretty reasonable but I'd just like to point out one thing.
We're not "telling these jokes without mercy".
In fact we've done pretty good to confine it to one thread.
If the victims or their families happen to be browsing the blockland forums (hint: they're not) then I'm sure they'd know not to open this thread.

i know, it's just a general statement, just to say that things happen because people start to tell jokes, and even if they are doing it to try and lighten the mood, they usually end up hurting people more than being funny because not everyone's sense of humor will agree.
