Author Topic: My school internet has finally gotten better  (Read 1913 times)

Wtf 12:14 PM

GMT

I forgot to change my time settings on speedtest.net to EST.

My school is it's own ISP, so the speeds are pretty sweet. I wonder what the speeds would be like if there were no traffic at all on the network.

Same here. During a busy day I get a reliable download speed of 3.8 MB/s on Steam. The connection is actually shared between several public organizations, but it's still really fast.

Speedtest thread?

Only if it's for your school's internet

But how is 12:14 PM possible
Wouldn't that be 0:14 AM

Our computers are decent, we use laptops more than anything. My school is paying for 500mb, which is also shared with the middle school that's next door so when that's all divided out the average person has at least 10 mb, which is pretty decent

.. 10 MB

what

I'd estimate the size limit of each student's network drive here to be at least 25 GB

But how is 12:14 PM possible
Wouldn't that be 0:14 AM

to logical people, yes
to Americans, no

1:00 PM is 13:00
12:14 PM is 24:14 therefore 0:14 AM

1:00 PM is 13:00
12:14 PM is 24:14 therefore 0:14 AM

Are you mentally handicapped or something.

12 PM is the middle of the day. PM stands for "post meridiem", which means "after midday".

Use math.

12 PM ("12 hours past noon") = Midnight.
It's not my fault that Americans have twisted everything around.
