I used to have a miniature tree that I raised, but I accidentally spilled red bull on it and now it's in the yard and it's not so miniature anymore

loving red bull

anyways don't water the cactus too much, my mom has like a 20 year old cactus in the living room and she's only had to water it a few times...

I had one too. I had common sense to not put my finger in one, so does a fly trap react to a finger touching it's leaves?
You have to be careful with "carnivorous" plants like that, since playing with them can be a surefire way to kill them. If they have a trap mechanism, then they're usually rather sensitive. They're not smart at all, it simply waits for something to trigger it and it closes.

Venus Flytraps will close if a hair inside it is touched and within 20 seconds another hair is also touched.
Since they're so small, if you touch it with a finger, you're guaranteed to touch multiple hairs at once.
When that happens, it closes down and locks up for a set amount of time. It'll start to digest and produce enzymes.
It'll take 10 days approx. for it to finish digesting, and then it opens. So, if you close it prematurely a number of times it can waste energy and fail to pick up nutrients, which can cause it to die.
Plus, since they're small and are still only leaves on a plant, it's easy to accidentally break them or damage when you touch.

I have a cactus that sprouts new cacti on top of it and I have to pull them off otherwise they'll kill the one underneath it. What a slutty bitch always getting knocked up like that

When I was 6, I bought myself two cacti. They were tiny and one grew a sort of cotton thing around itself instead of spikes and the other looked like a rock. When I bought them I was told to wait 4 years or so and then they would start to flower.

They still didn't flower after eight years and at that time I had to leave my little cacti in a different country.. I never got to see them all pretty and flowered ;-;

The fact that you referred to cacti as 'motherforgeters' made me laugh
