Title is self explanatory, but if you need the text...
These new designs severely decrease the productivity of YouTubers. This completely removes most forms of customization which is what YouTube is all about, how are video creators supposed to express themselves if the channel design is a white page, with a few small pictures?

The current design is perfect as it gives the creator a feel that their own channel is unique, as-well as provides smaller channels a chance to grow.

Please YouTube, hear our cries and strongly reconsider this decision.

That was when you could customize things like the border colors, inner colors and rearrange parts of your channel like the subscribers, friends, etc, right? I liked that best

Some guys who were involved in the youtube update did an AmA a while back, this was one of the top posts:

It shows borderline incompetence. Get yout stuff together, stop trying to turn YouTube into Google+ and give me back my YouTube.

i really agree with it. i hate that google keeps asking me for my god damn phone number/name for youtube.

Soon they'll replace it with a section chooser. Like "Grab Bag" "Most Popular".

Yeah thats another loving thing, putting your name out there for anyone else to extract information out of is a severe downside to youtube.

Why didn't they mention that?
