Just wondering, why is everyone against the Gun Control bill?

Personally I think one should be able to legally own an automatic for sport like at the shooting range. Collecting firearms is like a hobby. Home defense should be semi automatic to single shot weapons. Or shotguns, I need my shotguns.

But from what I have heard the majority of these murders with guns use handheld ones. So banning automatic guns will result in little to no difference in gun-biased murders and an increase in angry gun-owners. And anyway its not like banning murder has stopped people from doing it.

It's not like any person that uses assault guns to kill people gets them with a license and stuff. They're obviously going to get them from some shady guy or steal them.

because whats in the bill that isnt on the news, is the link to obamacare.
they want to make a list of everyone of mental health disorder. and this list would be used across to the gun law (if it has or will pass)

well fine and dandy. we are being sold the fact that crazy people cant get guns. no problem. (even though current background checks already cover that)
well what they arent telling you is that obamacare's list will also include people of add/adhd, bi polar, depression. pretty much any minor mental disorder there is a pill for.

the soviets also had redefined what "crazy" was so to ban people from owning guns as well. its an easy loophole.

remember that would easily include like 90% of americans really quick. thats a lot of gun bans.
