Author Topic: How do remove user content alpha?  (Read 572 times)

Please help me im trying to use leetzeros texture pack.

You delete client_usercontentalpha.zip from yoru add-ons folder

You place the textures in base/data/shapes (overwrite default ones)

You right click the textures, go to properties

You set them read-only

If you ever want the default textures back, simply remove the read-only and the launcher will bring back the default files.

Wait, why are you trying to remove the mod that lets you do this?

Can you post a link to that page please?

I think he just wants to make them read-only rather than having to put them in different folders and a bunch of this other crap.

User Content Alpha sucks anyways.

Yeah, just set them to read only after putting them in the correct files as said above.

I can't believe people still think that setting them to read-only works!
It doesn't do jack squat.  Set them to read-only and you'll still have the default textures (I know this from past experience, and I would give you the quote from Badspot if I could find it).
You have to use User Content Alpha or your textures will not change.

I don't have UCA, but I edited a part of a UI with setting it to R-O.
