Author Topic: Need some quotes for a presentation I'm doing  (Read 344 times)

So I have decided to do my presentation on the Boston Marathon incident, I need some quotes worthy of putting in the presentation. If you wish to view the final presentation, I will most likely put it on my mediafire so you can look if you want.

"forget those mondays."
-Abraham Lincoln

"forget those mondays."
-Abraham Lincoln
I was actually planning on taking this seriously.

I was actually planning on taking this seriously.
Why would you even be doing a presentaion on that?
Theres not much to say: people ran, stuff hit the fan, three people died, a bunch more cried

Heard one quote that was something along the lines of
"Whoever did this didn't target a nuclear plant or military base, or anything of real political importance. They hit America's softest place, where there are families and colleagues, and friends together"
or something like that

"One death is tragic, but a million is a statistic."

- Joseph Stalin (probably.)

Variants:

"When one dies, it is a tragedy. When a million die, it is a statistic."
"One death is a tragedy. A million deaths is just a statistic."
