So I heard this song a reeeaaaaally long time ago, and a recent post on the forums included this song. My "woah this would be fun" instincts kicked in, and I realized I really wanna do a Blockland music video to 'Icecube - It was a good day' (link at
top)
I can do the general setup. I've got plenty of experience with building / eventing, so that's not a problem unless you really wanna make props.
The following scenes are what I had in mind in sync with the song
- Ice wakes up, looks around
- Ice eats breakfast, dog sitting on ground
- girl calls Ice on cell
- Ice gets in regular convertible Turismo
- scene where Ice slowly drives by a crowd of thugs with bouncy convertible Turismo ("and if I hit the switch, I can make the aaaass drop")
- Ice stops at a red light, looks around, face changes to handsome-man (not sure on name)
- Ice gets ANOTHER girl call, this time he's on the phone nodding and smiling
- Ice plays basketball
- lots of scenes of driving around, small cuts
- slow drive by new thugs, all armed to the teeth (random weps), stare down, then they all look at each other when he passes
- Ice drives by a police car @ an intersection
- Ice plays dice game (fakekillbrick events on vertical plates)
- Ice plays dominos, slams table (same event as above)
- graveyard scene, thugs standing around casket
- Ice sitting on bed, girl asleep, bottle of wine on night table
- Ice drives. A lot. A WHOOOOLE lot. (bouncy turismo)
- Ice pulls into drive way, stands outside gate
- COP SWARM OH GOD ASSAULT RIFLES SNIPERS HELICOPTERS SWAT TEAMS HELICOPTER WHAT THE forget
- Ice goes inside, cops persue
- END
I'll add in the rest later, I just got at school so I need to start working (was absent for a week)

6-7 actors, I can also take on an acting role but for the most part I need to direct and help the camera man
Props, specifically facades (considering using some of Furdle's w/ permission)
Turismo edits (I know psp has both, not sure if he even plays anymore, I think I have his steam.)

NOTICE
Considering the scale of this video, so long as I can get the actors and a cameraman together, I would like some people to design fake buildings for use on the set- gas stations, corner stores, houses, etc. Most of the space WILL be filled with grass / parking lots, but once again, I need SOMETHING in the background. Right now, the projects I'm dedicated to are:
A basketball court, roads / streets, parking lots, grass filler, Ice's house, and small props
