My life has taken a strange turn all of the sudden after i recently got* my new kung-fu identification card. Nothing serious i just walked around not knowing that one number would appear throughout my life.

This number is 691

Out of 13,00 random numbers for my kungfu card i got 691
Out of all the diffent times and dates to buy blockland i got Bl id 691
I selected 691 as 3 prime numbers in lotto and won $4000.
I saw the news the next day and a news reporter says "The horrible deaths of an estimated 691 deaths in africa"

Now im starting to get a bit freaked out. I think i should try converting it to a decimal and square rooting, all random maths crap to see what i come up with.

Im not giving you ice cream either, this is all real, i was searching for a camera to take a photo of all the numbers but couldn't find one. My typing will have to do.

So what do you guys think?

You won $4000... With your BL ID, sure, whatever you say pal.

This is common, i've seen things like this happen alot, especially after the 9/11 attacks, people keep on seeing things to do with the numbers "911", like whenever they look at the clock it always seems to be 9:11AM or PM, it's actually just you see hundreds of numbers everyday, but you then forget it. If you see your "special" numbers, it gets stuck in your mind.

Almost every day when i glance at the computer clock, it genrally says 13:37.

This thread is like the movie "No. 23"

Was that movie fail then?

Your Post # 3+3+0+6+1+4 = 17
You BL ID # 6/9*1 = .6

17+6 (Not .6) = 23!

5/14*7=2.5-.2 (Average Post Count Per Day) = 2.3    23!

[Edit] - I tried figuring out one for your account name, but I have to go to work.

Nothing like this has happened, except for a few coincidences:

BLID: 348
BZPower Member number: 11848
Digital Paint ID: 11948

If you look hard enough, you can do that with any number.

Name : MrPickle                     8 letters
Posts:    2298 (10.784 per day)     2298/10.784 = 213.9(1dp)
                    2998x10.784 = 32330.4(1dp)
                    2998+10.784 = 3008.784
                    2998-10.784 = 2987.216
Date Registered:    07 March 2007, 18:18:30   18+18+30 = 66 (OShiz 1 more 6 pls)
                        18x18x30 = 9720
                        18-18-30 = -30
                        18/18/30 = 0.033333333333...

This "phenomenon" is nothing special.

Your numbers aren't magical and seeing that everywhere is normal. Why?

Because you have become aware of the number and are searching for it...

As Frodo said, you can do it with any number and you will find.

Generally you will see thousands of numbers everywhere, however the ones that you remember are typically the ones that you believe are magical. Its not a case of it being a "dominant" number. Simply that you remember over all the other thousands of numbers you hear everyday.

Think of the news you see and hear on TV. They often quote figures like...

"20% of Americans have diabetes".

Now...you may think "Wow! That's a lot!" But remember...they didn't mention or make note that 80% of Americans did not have diabetes. Its a matter of emphasis.

My parents always worry about me and my siblings and the internet because the news always talks about abductions from chat rooms and such. They always talk about that "1 girl/boy" who got abducted. They don't mention that the other 25 million youths using the internet did not get abducted.

Its a matter of what you chose to see and remember.

Did you know that there is almost a perfect correlation between the literacy rate of a country and the number of TVs per household?

Apparently the more TVs a nation has, the more people can read.
