Author Topic: My great grandmother is dying.  (Read 1274 times)

She was diagnosed with dementia, I believe. We went to see her today and she has had her IV cord pulled out, so its either today or tomorrow. She took care of my brother like my mom would so he's blown hard by this.

I don't understand why I can't cry though.

Don't worry about nit crying, you'll cry alot at the funeral (NOT trying to be funny).

Why did you G. Granny take care of your brother like a mother? Did your mom hate him?

Anyway,  I'm sorry, I never knew my dads parents, and my moms couldn't speak english so they were more of an acuantince more than a grand mother to me and my great grandparents never knew me, so honestly I can't say "I know that feel".

Mine just died a week ago ;c

I really hope that she doesn't die, wishing for the best.
My best regards to you, your mother, and your grandmother.

I really hope that she doesn't die
no but there is no use hoping now because she is gonna die anyways today or tommorow

2 of my regular grandparents were dead when I was born, and the other 2 spoke only French and lived in Canada. Now, of of them is dead and the other is suffering from Alzheimer's or demienta. So I never knew what having a grandparent felt like, let alone great-grandparent.

I'm sorry to hear that, my condolences.

I just looked back at this, is she still alive?
