Author Topic: [VIDEO] Blockland Brothers Studios - Intro  (Read 1636 times)

So after long discussion, me and some friends are going to start making movies and what not.

We are working on an intro. Basically advertising who we are and stuff. You know, the thing before the video. We just want some feed back on our intro idea. Good? Bad? Tips and suggestions are welcomed.

The Intro

It's pretty neat but I think you should only use it on longer videos.
The text itself is too dark too read sadly. Try out a different color.

Gotta love this fast paced intro.

I will test out some brighter colors. Good idea.
I also like the idea of it being long movies.
Very helpful.

Gotta love this fast paced intro.

I do indeed.

If this was 5 minutes long, I don't think I'd even bother watching this.
How'd you build those words so quickly?

Macro. I began recording my build, Built it brick by brick (at least 20 times cause I kept messing up) and then played it back.

What'd you use to record?

I used Fraps.
Editting program is Sony Vegas pro 11

Maybe you could speed it up.

Maybe you could speed it up.
This. Make it twice as fast or so. The overall length of the intro should not exceed 15-20 seconds, imo.
Also, it would've been much cooler if you got a team of 4 builders to build it without macros. I think that would be much cooler.

Use it as an outro, no one wants 30 second intros :(

Basically what everyone else is saying
Use a brighter color, maybe on the Blockhead too
Speed it up once he starts building, and then back to normal once he's done,
and it would probably be better as an outro unless it's a longer video. Intros usually shouldn't be longer than 5 seconds or so.

But otherwise, this is really good. I like the idea

BB is bumbises/bballers abbreviation :c

How is 30 seconds for an intro too long for you guys..?
