when you click on a cool video preview on youtube for something you think might be awesome, you want to see that, not some 30 second intro to it.

we can tell what your name is by glancing down and to the left, it isn't a chore. you don't have to make it one.

30 seconds for a video isn't a chore for me to watch, if it's good, then its fine.
This wasn't the best, but it sure was simple, exceptional, and extremely swift which is what a typical intro needs.

For most people, especially people who want immediate entertainment, 30 seconds is much, much too long. They want to go from one interesting thing to another and be done with it so they can continue

That's your opinion, but I've seen really long intros before which were over the span of 2 minutes, talk about boring..
This wasn't boring at all for me.

Brighter and shorter. I was actually thinking of using it as an outro.

I have a idea what could boost this up. fastforward everything, from the start, and put it to normal speed when the character turns around.
