are you trying to make me flame you?
ignore him
I go in to someone's drama and turn it on myself to get that person out of the spot light, to keep others from bugging them and all that. I don't care if my personal reputation takes a dive, I care that others can escape that handicapped crap without too much flame.

ignore him

oh wait, those two are the same person?

and i was about to take him seriously, too...

Whether you take me serious or not, I'm right. Its xenophilia not zoophilia. They're as sentient as aliens from mass effect or other games that have the option. Were they real, they would be people just like you and I.

What defines an animal?
Quote from: Wikipedia
Animals are a major group of multicellular, eukaryotic organisms of the kingdom Animalia or Metazoa. Their body plan eventually becomes fixed as they develop, although some undergo a process of metamorphosis later on in their life. Most animals are motile, meaning they can move spontaneously and independently. All animals must ingest other organisms or their products for sustenance.
Zoophilia is loveual attraction to an animal other than a human.

We're arguing from different bases here. You're going with an outmoded factual basis while I'm coming from a more common sense and decency base.

Something with a human-like sentience is no more animal than a human, meaning none at all ancestors notwithstanding. People are not animals because of some scientific nomenclature. There is a clear difference between animal and human and as such there is a clear line between human level sentience and animal level sentience. If something is at a human level sentience it is not an animal.

But would you forget it?

????

People are animals, we are clearly defined under the category of an animal because we posses many similar traits to other living animal species and thus belong into the category of "animal." We don't get our own special little category in the chain as "Humans" and we sure the hell ain't at the top of the chain either.

But would you forget it?
Me personally? It depends greatly on quite a few factors.

Is it sentient? (Hint Yes)
Is it willing?
Would it be dangerous for either party?
How well do I know it?
How long have i known it?
It's clearly on the same level as I am, am I attracted to it mentally?
It's clearly on the same level as I am, am I attracted to it physically?

I'm not picky, I just have standards. There's an extremely well written excerpt that I'd love to post, but some would take offense to it so I'll link it here. It's rather quick and simplistic, but when put with the choice in your court and a limited time to think of a response it's my main process on it.

You skipped the entire first part of my post? I'm arguing on a sentience level while you two are arguing on a biological level. An animal cannot be a person or the things that being a person entitles. It cannot think the way we do, nor can it learn the way we do. There are plenty of psychology experiments using dogs and other intelligent animals that prove this. We are separate from them.

Ok :(

Holy cow is .Atlas an irritating person.

Holy cow is .Atlas an irritating person.
You're just now finding this out?

besides, do animals of one species usually mate with other animals that are of a different species? No.

It happems.
