You should fork RTB's code as a base and revive the mod.
RTB's codebase is licensed under a ND (no derivatives) version of Creative Commons.
Then rewrite important parts in a slightly different way and use your own scripts for the rest?

Sure. I'm only saying it's dying but it's still alive so long as nothing comparable is made.

Perhaps that restricted licensing should be taken as seriously as Ephialtes' treatment of my code. Besides, it seems that Ephialtes is working against his own wishes for a better service. I've never looked at the licensing but it's no surprise that Ephialtes would squeeze every last bit out of a dying service. It's also no surprise that he would try to academically capitalize off of the game.It doesn't have to be full-code anyway; it just has to copy what it does.
