It doesn't have to be full-code anyway; it just has to copy what it does.
Deriving from a subset of it would still be a derivate work and against the license.

Then why are you still complaining, and not already in the process of making something comparable?
You can complain that something is crap without making something better.

I don't understand where you get the idea that RTB is dying. It's actively being worked on, anyone can see. Idk, maybe you're just trolling.

I don't think you understand what "active" means. RTB slowed down a long time ago and is on the brink of abandonment.

About copying some of RTB's code, really? Lol. You don't need to stoop down that low.
The idea is to revive a dead mod. The community needs better mods that are actively updated.

That's not what I meant. I'm talking about copying functionality.

In the 7 months between v4.0 and v4.1 Ephialtes and I developed RTB hosting, took the vast majority of your clients, and got clients that never even had a server. I doubt you've ever developed a project long term (you only seem to be good at failure and giving up), but it's good to have a long term break from things sometimes, especially when you've spent as much time as Ephi has on RTB.

You've been developing your amazing new hosting panel for 5+ months (5 months past deadline), would it be fair to apply your logic and say that's a dead service? Not sure you're going to agree with that even though it's completely reasonable.

Love the idea of using TCP over the same port as BL's UDP port, real neat.

took the vast majority of your clients
Yeah, but somehow managed to host only the worst servers of the game. I'm not exactly sure what was "taken" from me.

Rub, stay on-topic.

I'd definitely ignore Kalphiter if I were you, stick to new functionality that RTB hasn't got covered, RTB isn't a dead mod and never will be. I stumbled across your Github repos, looking good.

Translation: stay out of disappearing RTB territory and Ephialtes won't give you stuff

I'm pretty sure Ephi has said multiple times in the past he'd happily take contributions on RTB, maybe the BLG team would consider submitting patches and improvements to RTB instead?

That's funny because Ephialtes wasn't interested in fixing something simple for over 2 months. You may be having trouble evaluating truthfulness by comparing it to reality.

Where is the repository?

https://github.com/BlocklandGlass looks like it could be related.

Kalphiter, stay on topic.

Talking about how this will interact with RTB is relevant; personal attacks are petty and aren't even related.

Thanks.

Yep, that's the one, although I suppose it's time to clean up some of the older repositories soon. Jincux, time to move the old stuff into some sort of archive org?

You should make an API for that server-port TCP object because things may start getting incompatible. A protocol should be established however HTTP is the only protocol that needs special handling.

Can you clean it up now? It's a little hard to figure out what's going on.

Done. The old stuff now lives at https://github.com/BlocklandGlass-Archive.

EDIT:
Oh, wow, I thought you had the TorqueScript stuff there. So I should just feel free to submit any code right here?

For the stuff that's there, feel free to send pull requests etc. I have no idea about why the new add-on code isn't on there though.
