The star Alpha Centauri has begun emitting a massive radio signature for seemingly no reason. For something man-made to emit this powerful of a signature it would have to be as big as a large city filled with radio emitters. Khonia has dispatched a ship to investigate, which will take a travel time of 4 years. Warp gate linkages will be deployed for easier access in the future if it's safe.

No sign of native life.

Conservatia has claimed this system, but there is no earth-like planet and it would be hard to terraform any of the planets here.
