As for containing the spread of the virus on Earth, OCS does its part by distributing respirators specially made to cover the eyes, ears, nose and mouth of the wearer to Khonians, and begins exterminating the already infected, and burning the bodies in private areas.  Checkpoints are set up and any who are believed to be infected are put in a 3 day quarantine.  If they show signs of infection, they will be eliminated and disposed of properly.

Most of the exterminations are kept under wraps as not to upset the local populations/governments of TE and UK.
