Suddenly a large asteroid enters the solar system at a fast speed.

Scientists of all/most countries are getting worried. Radio emissions appear to be coming from the asteroid but the scientists cant explain why.

the elderly Mr. Dern is escorted safely underground

Erinamese Supercruisers fly close to it and use Gravitanium beams to start slowing it down.  A large facility is prepared to house it immediately.

It's effecting it slightly, but still charging on. It has been investigated more and it's heading straight for the inner solar system. Another radio signal is detected heading into the solar system, but it does not seem to be an asteroid. It seems to be metallic.

It turns out the meteor is heading straight for Earth!

stuff

The metal signature is closing in on the meteor as well.

(excuse my art skills)

Holy stuff. Should you make contact?

An emergency conference call is set up between the leaders of the Central Axis Coalition to decide what to do pretty damn quickly.

Meanwhile a radio signal is sent to all receivers. A voice speaking a strange language shows up. It repeats and suddenly starts to sound english. "Hello, humans. We are the Khon. We have saved your home planet from an attack. This seems like the perfect timing for first contact. Please take your leaders to our vessel, or if you rather, set up a communication line."

Suggested:  Send recordings of our leaders making speeches for any alien contact:  We mean no harm; welcome; thank you for saving us; etc.

Just so you know, these Gravitanium beams are powerful enough to drag asteroids like Ceres across the solar system.  If Erinaum thought that another moon would be a good idea, it can make it happen.  Next time you assume their power, you must assume that whatever they are trying to slow down is much more powerful, which I hope in this case you considered.

Zenith's leaders invite the other leaders of the CAC to a secure bunker (as a precaution) to talk to the aliens directly.

Some aliens request that they fly down to this bunker to explain.

Zenith grants their request. (assuming the other CAC members do not have a problem?)
