I didn't like the new ones. While the show did have its given inconsistencies for the comedy, there were some established facts which the revival threw out. My apologizes for hating on the show, but what was the point of establishing anything if they were just going to destroy most of it there. It wasn't the same.

In fact, I seriously think that American Dad > Cleveland Show > Family Guy.
