Clean your face regularly.
Whether using regular soap, an anti-spot cream/cleaner, or just regular facial wipes.
Use it atleast twice a day. Once when you wake up. Once before you go to sleep.
Witch-hazel is also pretty good too.
The best way to deal with spots/entrepreneur les is to prevent them from happening in the first place.
It's not possible to guarantee that however, since it's not just due to diet and hygiene.
Hormones in puberty play a good part towards it.
You can pop a spot, but it's not always best to.
Don't pop one that is quite new and hasn't truly shown up in the skin.
If it's a large spot, it's best to avoid it too.
If it's formed a white-head, it's normally alright.
My advice here is to use
cotton-buds to squeeze the spot until it pops.
This prevents grubby hands from touching it.
You should wash your hands before doing this, and also wash them afterwards. As well as washing your face.
Don't use something like Tweezers, since these can often be dirty if left around in a bathroom, and possibly used for other things.
Make sure you don't touch the burst spot afterwards with dirty hands. You don't want to get dirt in it, as it is an open wound. You can cause further infection, which will only give you more spots.
And be aware that the spot is likely to release blood too, even if it's only a small amount.
When the spot bursts, some pus will come out. I suggest giving it a bit more of a squeeze to ensure all the pus is out. If you can see no more pus, and it just bleeds slightly, that's when you should be fine to stop.
And finally, be aware that bursting spots can cause scarring.
Especially if done too early.
