I think static shapes are amazing
also, i'm one of those people who have had better experiences with static shapes than bricks
I can code a castle in static shapes better than i could build one on a laptop :p
And i tend to lag more with bricks than static shapes

it might not lag for you but you need to consider people with lower end computers who will have large performance drops
