Skills: Was a mechanic, so good in repairing things. Monorail engineer, too, so there's that. Survived in the woods for a week after he got lost on a camping trip.

Characters biography/back-story (make this 3-4+ paragraphs and relate to the story):

He had been working as an airline pilot when his plane crashed into the wilderness. It was too cold for him to live on his own, so he had to try to find others. He found three people and they were all airline pilots too, who had encountered the same problem at the same time and wandered into the wilderness looking for others. They said that their communication systems had been deactivated at the same time. He got very worried, Jack did, so he formed a small faction of people living in tents called the McCarrans. They were disbanded when the others were banded.

He wrote in a journal, "I am very worried. It has been days since our planes have crashed, and we still have no word that there is any answer to the problem. We have found a faction of people, they call themselves the Modernizers, and we have joined together with them to prevent further harm. We are very scared here, and we need answers and we need hope more than anything in the world." The last thing he had ever written home to his parents, who were dying at the time, had been a short letter with the aforementioned journal attached to it by a paperclip. They too had felt the awful effects of the apocalypse, and were also worried that they would not make it out alive.

There was one radio transmission still left. It was him getting ready to fly. It had said, "It may be dangerous, this job, but in these times it's more important than ever. I just wished we'd get higher wages." Maybe this is all nothing, maybe it's not connected at all, but he thought it meant something. He thought that he had played a part in the destruction of mankind as we know it. But he really hadn't. He had just been a pawn in the game of life.

Hey guys, Alphadin here, bringing about news of the new WinterBite RP System update, Frostbitten! I'm aiming to have it before the end of the month. If you're interested in details, check em out below
Under the Hood
As you guys know, most of Winterbite's glory comes from the underbelly coding you can't directly interact with. Sometimes this underbelly gets fat and everyone sees it. In most cases it's data loss. In extreme cases, the entire RP system has a meltdown. Come Frostbitten, tons of bug fixes are ensured, and data management improved severely.
Roleplaying Features
The fun stuff, the guys you can use hands on. For one, I'm creating a specialized sleep command, unconscious command, and finally a carry command. If your are asleep, you generate health VERY slowly, and you can't see anything. In this state people can carry you without consent, however moving faster than a walk would wake you and let you resist. When unconscious, you can't see, you can't move, you don't heal naturally, and you can be carried without consent but can't waken up if they move faster than a walk. When being carried or carrying, you cannot fire a gun so be cautious.
other details are super secret for now while they are being ironed out and being lazily well thought out.

After Frostbitten and the maintenance updates.

Also, at a time I feel everyone can take part. No use in spending hours on preparing missions only only around eight people can make it at that time.

Skills: Originally worked as a Mechanic, then became a police officer, so he knows combat very well.

Rogan worked as mechanic, then became a police officer. For both jobs, his routine was to get up, go to work, do his job, then come home only to be greeted by his loving wife and son. One day, his doctor called to inform him that his son was diagnosed with Terminal cancer. That's when the wife heard about the genometers. She ordered one and used it on the boy, and then used it on herself "Just incase". Rogan refused to use it because he wanted a trained medical professional to use it on him rather than a untrained mother.

  Months pass, and Rogan notices that his wife and son are suddenly hateful towards him, and each other. His son wishes he would stay away from him, and his wife wishes to not see him again. Then one day, he woke up to find his wife making a bunch of noise in the house. Rogan goes downstairs to find that his son was covered in blood, with his wife standing over him. Rogan screams at her, "What the forget is wrong with you?!", and in response she tackles Rogan to the ground, trying to bite at him, before throwing her off and running out of the house. That's when he sees the chaos outside. People running in panic, car turned over.
 
  That's when his wife opens the door, screams, and charges toward him. Rogan takes a  brick he found on the floor, and hits her in the head, making her fall over. He begins to cry, but then hits her in the head once more, to ensure she doesn't hurt anyone else. He then goes inside the house to say good bye to his son, then goes to pack anything he might need in his bag, including the gun he used on the police force. He takes his car out to escape the chaos. After a few days of gathering supplies, and being on his own, his car eventually runs out of gas, in which he goes out of his car, only to be chased by 3 infected. He then runs away, and eventually loses them, when he stumbles upon the Greenwood Station. He is brought in and tended to, and promises not to be a burden, and to do a lot to help.

Every day, he has a few moments of sadness, remembering his wife and son, and he cries a little. But he has to toughen up, because in this new reality, it is survival of the fittest.

Characters biography/back-story (make this 3-4+ paragraphs and relate to the story):

 Thomas was born in England roughly 17 years ago and was on holiday in Alaska during the time when the infections were just myths. suddenly the infection spread to Alaska and Thomas was stranded. he trekked for days across the Alaskan countryside in hope of finding some form of refuge (and a ticket back home hopefully).

On his adventure he found some sort of Glock, but that broke in about a day or something because he's british had no experience of firearms in the past. He has a phone and he listens to music and the radio frequencies on it.
being young, Thomas has no clue on what to do in the wild. So far, he's picked up a few books about survival stuff and I think he's getting along fine with them. The books would also make good fuel for the fire. He's carrying a small gray crowbar that he uses to smash windows and bottles when he's bored.

He has had a couple of near death experiences. For example, he trod on a mine which didn't blow up until a minute later and nearly got bit. Back in England, Thomas was on the local pub's football (soccer) team and was the best player there. He won a lot of trophies and medals and played against Manchester United at one point. He quit because he got fed up with all the kicking and stuff.
