Loss of energy and interest as well as some other things that have bugged me for a really long time.

This is what happened to me.

To be honest, I still visit, but this is now final, since my absence has affected the involvement of Nathan Franc in the overall lore. Nathan was one of the "original" characters, but I slowly stopped playing once people rarely RPd with Nathan due to aged hates/horrible and lazy roleplaying on my behalf.

Nathan has died of hypothermia after falling down a ridge and being forgotten after his radio broke.

Winterbite is still a thing, it's just never going to be the same without some characters. I honestly do believe the start of the decline was Jolene's death. Not to toot my own horn, but progress seemingly stopped and people went dormant after it happened. I honestly was sort of depressed when I had to let go of Jolene. I spent the better part of almost a year making her who she was. I just do not feel the same getting on WB as a new character, though I will continue until the eventual end of Wb.
