Today on April 26, 2013 famous country singer George Jones has died, he lived to be 81 years old.

As much as I dislike country music, there's something about this older generation that is pretty good.

I was raised on older and some newer country when I was really young. Newer as in late 80s-early 2000s
I would go with my family do a family friendly bar in town and the jukebox would be playing older music. And it was played at home a lot.
Those are the reasons why I know old country.

I absolutely detest the new stuff, it's like pop music with twangs and southern accents.
