Author Topic: Teamspeak 3 for blockland?  (Read 1859 times)

I'm thinking about constructing a team speak for blockland with channels that go from blockland gameplay to off topic channels.

You can join General channels for main blockland gaming, and other games for other games the aren't blocking and talk to friends.  and If an admin trusts you enough, they will give you permission to join the private channels.

My main question is, would people join and talk on it? the whole point is a place to speak, of course it will have admins to banish trolls and what not, just post what you think, if it's a waste of time or It's a cool idea.

i kind of support
but i doubt more than 10 people will ever be on at the same time

Good idea. I support the idea.

This is what I'm worried about, I have no problem making a ts3 for blockland, but I want to buy a dedicated hosting for it, I might just host my own and see how it goes, who knows.

I have a pretty good idea of what I might do if people agree to be active on it, I just don't want to go through the trouble of making it and setting it up then no one goes on it.

Mumble is like TS but smaller / lighter / and open source (Free). There is an active server allready hosted at nullable.se (see below)

Wound...
You are a GENIUS.
seriously though I would love this
best idea for mic things

I'm sticking with ts3, regardless of the differences of mumble, vent, and ts3.

I think Nobot might help me Administrate it, I'll probably pick admins that administrate it daily as well.

But there's no guarantee that I will do this, still not enough support.

I use ts frequently with quite a big group of people playing different games.

Ts for blockland? Sure! :)

Because I already have TeamSpeak downloaded I would use it. I wouldn't use mumble because it wouldn't be worth the download.

I actually think that this will be good.
I think your should do it.

Mumble is better.

I've used both. As a matter of fact I used mumble at first but swapped to ts3. I'm quite satisfied with my swap.

That's another thing, a lot of people in the blockland community play other games, that is why I will add a variety of different other games channels and General channels for Blockland itself.

Bump to see what more people think.
