Author Topic: Rule #5 Should Apply to User Avatars/Profile Pictures  (Read 4775 times)

I think avatars are a bigger issue than threads, in fact. Since, like, more people are (probably) going to see an active player's avatar than any given thread.

Can't say I support.
Them changing their avatar isn't that big of a deal.
And besides, if they're gone they won't be posted anymore, so you won't see it unless you're in old threads.

Wasn't a real fan of Issaac. I remember getting all, upset on July 4th. Anyway Hopefully he cools off when he gets back.

It does.  People reported him and he is now banned.  He is not the first person to do this and be banned for it.

Is it permanent?

Oh, I was under the assumption that people with those profile pictures weren't getting banned. I've seen a few people take an avatar like that and return a few months later.

I don't usually report it because the rules don't explicitly refer to profile pictures instead of posts.

I'm not sure if that's just common sense or anything, but I don't think anyone in this thread knew that.

Sherwood McCloud will be missed.

Why the forget does everyone want me gone all of a sudden? Yes, I forgeted up bad, but why can't you just let people learn from their mistakes? There's a chance they'll come back as a much better person.

Why do people here fail to understand this?

He was being a "STOP LIKING WHAT I DON'T LIKE"-esque starfish for months, I doubt he'll change.

Is Rule #5 applicable to signatures as well?

Say someone left, didn't make a post, didn't change their avatar, but just put a little message in their signature saying they're leaving.

it shouldn't since the person isn't begging people to look at it
