Author Topic: Animal Testing  (Read 982 times)

Have you ever wondered how people find out how products are going to affect someone and if they are safe? Well, no one would want them to test a product on them, so they say to themselves, "Hey, let's use something that won't deny us doing it to them". So, they go off to preform vivisection, give fatal chemicals, and utterly revolting expierments on them.

I for one think this is disgusting and Inhumane in every single shape and form.

Here's a video to what I'm talking about, (Contains blood and gore with suggestive themes +18)

Considering modern life wouldn't be possible without it, I'm all for it.

At some point though mankind will need to change its ways.

Edit: The vid looks like it's from the 70s or 80s.

Perhaps current day techniques are more humane?

im for and against

the way they treat these animals is cruel

i think we should test these animals in way more painless and non horrible ways
at least give them loving room and comfort, not stuff them in cages and pretend they are useless stuff

I'm going to agree with Titanium Man on this one.

The part where they took half the cat's brain out and saw how it acted was forgeted up.

+1 I don't even want to watch a second tell me what happened

I would like to point out again that this video looks like its 40+ years old. Back then they used to do lobotomies and such to people. Also, I wouldn't doubt that some of this footage wasn't in professional facilities but rather amateur or performed by incredibly sick people.

Still, I disagree with testing products on animals, but I do see the need for it.

don't wanna know, don't wanna know, don't wanna know

Well what the hell are we supposed to test on then?

Well what the hell are we supposed to test on then?
mentally and physically disabled people, of course!

Well what the hell are we supposed to test on then?
murderers, rapists

I think even an awful human being is, like, more valuable than an animal.

EDIT: Which is to say that I don't think we should test this sort of stuff on humans. More humane conditions should be necessary, though.

Better than the alternative.

Better than the alternative.
the alternative being not treating them like garbage?
