help figuring out what this movie/tv show/book is

i thought of this scene in a shower, and im 100% its a tv show or something
all i remember is that  sometimes the contestants can get a reward to call their parents from a payphone from a room using a key from the host
and thats its wild west styled i think

if someone could be of help that'd be great :o
