What is Spam?

Alright, on my server two people have been arguing about what spam is.

A:
Spam is spam, whether it is on a baseplate or not.
Example: An 8x8 vehicle spawn by itself.

B:
Spam is spam if it isn't on a baseplate. If it is on a baseplate, it isn't spam.
Example: An 8x8 vehicle spawn on top of a 16x16 baseplate.

Which one is spam? I think its both, but these guys are still arguing about it.

"BUT IT WAS ON A BASEPLATE" is a reason that is never valid to me.

usually i tweak when something isn't on a baseplate or if its not on one if its not aligned with the rest of the stuff

Good builds can exist off of baseplates, but baseplates make things a bit cleaner and prevents /clearspam from destroying it.

Using a bunch of bricks over and over again in a needless fashion (unless planned like a brick wall) is spam. Not just bricks. Anything used repetitively in a grotesque fashion is spam.

I think every person is capable of creating sensible rules on their own personal servers themselves.

The phenomena origin from the fact that Badspot chose to call the command that clears everything not on a baseplate for "/clearspam". Blame Badspot if you're so sincerely annoyed.
