Author Topic: OP Weapons Thread  (Read 5897 times)

I think it's interesting how I don't remember having anybody say that "none of these/all weapons are OP so this topic is useless" in the 5 pages of my topic. Yet on the first page of this one there's several

Not implying anything, just saying that it's interesting
Maybe the community has just gotten more intelligent.

Takato's laser weapons.

Dragon's Feng in the H&K pack.

The old school rifle is the most OP weapon ever. It isn't "almost 1 hit kill", it's 1 hit kill. Anywhere. And fast reloading. And piercing through bricks (which I've tested before and it does less damage). Also, if it's a no-jet combat gamemode, scoping/unscoping makes your player be the scoped-in player datablock and when scoping out it makes you the standard player datablock, so you can jet around being a richard.

Ion Cannon and mini-nuke

The Baldr isn't overpowered lol

Banhammer.

Also, I don't get why everyone thinks that the OSR is so OP. For one, to actually get it to insta-kill, you have to right click to zoom in. When you're zoomed in, you go extremely slow. And when you're not zoomed in, it does about 2 shot kills. And the bullets actually travel instead of getting to the target instantly. Not to mention that you have to "reload" after each shot.
So it balances itself out.

None of the weapons in the OP are OP, give two people the same weapon and it's completely fair
the mini-nuke is OP
if everyone has a mini-nuke, it's still OP

Repetition won't make you right. A weapon with perfect accuracy that kills instantly is over powered. If two people have it, skill is still irrelevant. That's over powered.

every weapon set like ever

it might just be me, but i swear without a a default health counter, almost every weapon seems op

I'm going to say this once, and only once.
I am not putting weapons that we all know are overpowered in the list.
