Author Topic: TRY TO RESTORE YOUR FAITH IN HUMANITY  (Read 6925 times)

I have a friend of mine straight from Syria in my art class. He told me the internet in Syria went out or something and I hope things eventually get better there, and I'm really glad he's enjoying his time here in the US. Then again I've never quite used losing faith in humanity, the phrase. Anyone read 1984, that kinda makes you feel sad about humanity.

one time i found a 20 dollar bill on the ground and it made me really happy that someone left that 20 dollars there so i could find it and buy something nice for myself :)

no bubba it says "RESTORE", not "OBLITERATE".

statistically, the human race would have to be altruistic and decent to a certain extent, else we wouldn't have reached the size we were at now without constantly decimating each other. yes, we have wars. yes, we have conflict. but that is a small fraction of our existence and it shouldn't be treated as the norm, because it isn't.

i can't read

I would much prefer an authoritarian state like national socialist germany. Them uniforms. Riddler truly loved the German people and was one of the last "people's ruler" before the new age of lawyers and law men running countries exclusively.
Yeah
except for the part where Riddler basically imprisoned / tortured / killed anyone who was against the system / connected to a group that was against the system.
The entire german population would sell anyone out who said something bad about Riddler or the National Socialism in general. Oh and almost everyone in that country became a massive tribal richardhole aswell...

Hahahahaha, is that what they told you in your public school?

People were imprisoned, yes. Political enemies were imprisoned, yes. Jews were imprisoned. Communist were imprisoned. Many Jews were imprisoned for no reason, and that was wrong. Many communists were imprisoned and that was wrong. But a small portion of communists and jews were causing massive trouble for the Reich so they did what they could in the little time they had during the war and imprisoned everyone associated with the groups because they didn't have the time or resources to pinpoint who was causing the trouble. Also, they weren't exterminated either. People in the camps died of starvation, allied bombing, and the massive typhus outbreak. Germany couldn't even feed their citizens, let alone camps of inmates.

Dude that's like 10x better than anything anyone would do around here

I hope to be nice like that someday

I can't help but be reminded of Brick from the Borderlands series.

It applies to you too, douchebag I'm sorry, I didn't mean to make it look like that. :c
