whats your problem? you come into this thread first questioning why people are sympathizing with someone who had a recent problem, pin the sympathizers as "suck ups" then proceed to attack filipe's work. i have absolutely no respect for that and i'm now going to proceed to take a stuff over every poorly constructed point you've made.
You begin with the question "what does filipe do?", fully aware that he makes vehicles, as you later bring them up without anyone mentioning them previously ("his cars? does anyone actually use those?"). It also seems as though you have knowledge of what his cars do, considering you speak from experience calling them "useless". Now, your actual "points":

downloading something doesn't mean you use it
Considering people continuously praise his vehicles and download them, it is safe to assume that many people use them as well, or else they wouldn't be continuously praised and featured. People download add-ons that they plan on using.
I'm not talking about speedkarts? I'm talking about all the cars he makes
The evidence provided above shows that people do, in fact, enable and use his cars.

Some people like cars, just like some people like guns, or some people like swords. Maybe the car they own was made as a blockland vehicle? Maybe their dream car was finally put into game? Maybe now they can re-enact a scene from a movie where one of those cars was used? When saying things like "SOOOOOO AWESOMEEEEE 1000000/10" or "THIS IS THE BEST", don't take it so literally as if they think the vehicles are a craft of God. It's the internet, its just a light-hearted way to show you like something a lot.

people in family RP servers, of course, drive them around and run into things and pretend to get into accidents, but outside of that, I don't think they see a lot of acton
They provide a variety as opposed to having one vehicle. This is the same reason that guns have skins and players have accessories. It adds a variety to the game world. There is a reason to download them, but just because you don't find a reason to use them doesn't mean it applies to everyone else as well. Just because you don't see it one way doesn't make it "hard to understand" another, easily acceptable, viewpoint.

This is plain false. Each of his vehicles is physically and mechanically different from both eachother and the jeep. While some might only be small tweaks, they still function differently. Not everything needs to be over unique. Filipe's charger provides more "Speed" compared to his other vehicles.1 Adding "drifting" to his vehicles is just tacking on a gimmick. There should be a drifting framework mod for those who want drifting on a vehicle. A gimmick like drifting shouldn't make a break a vehicle.21Code taken from two of his vehicles and the default jeep.

Filipe does a nice job providing a stable backdrop of modern cars to use. There is nothing wrong with having more variety, its not being forced upon you and you aren't forced to run them on your own server. I look forward to seeing how Filipe continues to improve, as he's gotten so much better since he first began creating vehicles.
On an OP related note, I'm sorry to here that you lost your stuff. Hopefully you can find a way to recover it. Don't give up!!!
