Author Topic: I am painfully OCD  (Read 4023 times)

I have OCD and have intrusive thoughts and uncontrollable urges to do things like turn a light switch off and on or smack my mouse on the table, or an often one is Ill have to get my finger caught in the mouse wheel, or Ill have to make a certain sound. I know these all sound weird but its kind of annoying when people think OCD = clean. Im messy as stuff y0.

If youre not being dramatic and you actually get anxiety over disorder then you might have OCPD or a form of autism.

OCD is not an adjective

I am painfully OCD

everyone has a little ocd.
i have an endless list of little nuisances daily, that if i pay too much attention to, bothers the forget out of me because it wasn't even enough.

ocd is the noun though

no it's not

you don't say "I am painfully dog"

you say "I am painfully stupid" or "I am painfully tired" or "I am painfully running" or whatever

OCD is neither a verb or an adjective

it really bothers me when people say "I am so OCD" and the like

but that might just be my OCD

You don't have OCD. OCD is kinda like how that light switch is flipped in the wrong direction but it's off and you don't want to turn the light on, or how the knob on the fence is a little off-center and you know you can't move it, or how you were trying to count how many steps you were taking down the stairs but you forgot and had to do it again, or how a book on a table isn't in it's proper place but you don't know where that proper place is, or how you had forgotten to put on your shoes before putting your glasses on and you have to redo your entire morning schedule to get it right and if you don't fix it you freak out and you can't focus on anything else.

that's sort of "OCD"

I am become death?

light switch is flipped in the wrong direction

oh god I hate this
I have a light in my house that can be turned on by two different light switches and this happens all the time
I have to turn them on and off in the right order to get them in the right positions
