Which also means the Government knows you have a firearm. What if you didn't want them to know? In the event that they try to take them away when private ownershi goes out the door.
I'll shoot the national socialist Storm troopers on my doorstep.

Where frying pan design to kill things: No. Guns: Yes

You sound really silly saying that.
Blunt objects like clubs were weapons of yesterday. Just like blades were when a sword was practical.

people use guns for recreation and people use frying pans for cooking things they both are dual purpose so my argument is entirely sound

Groping around in the dark for arguments are we?

Because Liberals are national socialists right?

Well if you can refute it then be my guest. You're full of excuses my friend.

Nobody said anything about liberals but I can say that their idea for society is noble but their approach can be disastrous.

A frying pan is not an effective weapon that can kill en masse, a gun is. Apples to oranges my friend.

Liberals and Conservatives are one in the same to me. Liberals have no idea what personal freedom is, Conservatives have no idea what religious freedom is. Nor did I say anything about liberals in that previous post. Atleast I don't put words in people's mouths. By the way, since California is crime filled state and has one of the toughest gun laws in the nation, here is how you acquire a gun legally.

And Washington has tight gun laws and very low crime, same with Vermont. I think that the correlation is very same.

a gunshot to the head usually kills someone, a good hit on the head with a frying pan usually kills someone

But can a frying pan do it from a distance, and repeatedly without counter-attack?

Maybe not but its still a weapon, besides what if someone breaks into your home? Wouldn't you want a gun to shoot him from the couch/whatever to the door?

I'd rather live in a society where criminals are so rare that that kind of thing is unnecessary. But people seem attached to the "Let Solve it With Violence" approach. Guns + more guns doesn't equal peace, it equals more shootings.

Maybe so but what about the people who use guns for sport purposes? Should we ruin their fun?

So what equals peace, o-mighty Caesar?
